Co-hosted by Ningbo Center for CEEC Expo and Cooperation Promotion, BANK OF CHINA Ningbo Branch and Polish Investment and Trade Agency, 2020 CHINA-CEEC SMEs Cross-Border Matchmaking Meeting (Poland) was held successfully in the Morning of September 28, 2020.
The vedio event was launched via real-time online video platform with breakout rooms open for each round of business negotiation. A total of 10 Polish exhibitors and 8 domestic buyers conducted 20 one-on-one talks with each lasts for 30 minutes.
According to the sourcing intentions, this event focused on two major industries: for consumer goods all suppliers are in the field of food and alcohol, and for manufacturing sector it narrowed down to auto parts.
The cooperation intentions for food and alcohol include craft beer, children's suppliments, poultry meat, edible oil, and organic fruit juice; the initial cooperation intentions for auto parts include the field of electric control BCLD and technical solutions for electric vehicles.
Every Polish company negotiated at least two rounds, and we have got positive feedbacks after the meeting. Mr. Karel Hála from Bytów Browar Kaszubski Sp. z o.o. told us he met two buyers with targeted sourcing intention of craft beers which are exactly what they could offer. They have exchanged contact information for further negotiation after the meeting.
The Organizing Committee of CEEC Expo will continue to provide matchmaking services for CEEC online exhibitors. With the third China International Import Expo drawing near, matchmaking events either by country or by products will be organized in line with the theme of CIIE.
