Introduction
In order to implement the instructions of the provincial CPC committee to accelerate the construction of a high-level open province and advance the “Trade Enhancement Priority Project” based on President Xi Jinping’s “sweet potato economy” metaphor, the “Invest in Zhejiang” Summit of the 24th Zhejiang Investment and Trade Symposium were held to inject fresh momentum into Zhejiang’s high-level innovation as well as high-quality reform and opening-up. The event featured remarks by provincial leaders, speeches by senior executives of multinational companies and institutions, an agreement-signing ceremony of major projects, an inauguration ceremony of the Fund Investment Alliance, and dialogues on opening up and development.
